Job Summary

The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues. These images are critical for diagnosing various medical conditions. In addition to CT imaging, the technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to generate high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging technique and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary.
• Document and maintain patient records and images accurately.
• Adhere to established protocols and standards in the imaging department.

Qualifications

• Certification in computed tomography (CT) and/or general radiography.
• Current registration with relevant professional bodies.
• Strong understanding of imaging techniques and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
