Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording observations and vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
Position Details
- Location: City, State
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with rotating weekends
- Duration: 13 weeks
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
- Willingness to float to other units as needed.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
