Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dedicated healthcare team providing essential services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency medicine and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Chicago, IL

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
Must pass an EKG test on the first day

License and Certification Requirements

Active Illinois nursing license
CPR Certification
ACLS Certification
NIH Stroke Certification
PALS Certification
TNCC or TNS Certification

Additional Qualifications

Candidates with Epic experience preferred. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on cardiac care and elderly patients.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Weekend Shift: Every other weekend
Holiday Shift: As needed
