Description
Job Description
The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues utilized for diagnosing medical conditions. This role encompasses a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients using CT technology.
- Perform various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Administer contrast media for CT scans as required.
- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care to patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized radiologic technology program.
- Certification and registration in radiography and computed tomography.
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional imaging protocols and techniques.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.
