Description
Position Overview
The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients meeting the Medical Step-Down level of care, ensuring high-quality clinical support and patient monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical Step-Down unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs for appropriate nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in Nursing or other professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association.
- 2 years of critical care or step-down nursing experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS from the American Heart Association.
