Position Overview

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients during their procedures. This role requires a solid understanding of surgical processes, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Varied scheduling is required, with availability needed from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The position also entails on-call requirements.

Contract Duration

This is a temporary assignment lasting 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team as needed, providing support and monitoring patient status.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday, which may include the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
