Position Overview

This role requires a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a Free Standing Emergency Department setting. The position involves assessing and caring for patients during their visit, performing vital procedures, and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Unit Information

• Location: Manor FSED, City, State
• Number of Beds: 11
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 Registered Nurses, 2 Certified Nursing Assistants, and 1-3 Sitters
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Registered Nurse
• Patient Ratios: Not applicable
• Type of Equipment: Ventilators, Point of Care Lab Machines
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
• Permanently Available Positions: Yes

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer IV starts and conduct 12-lead EKGs as required.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions to implement care plans.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Less than 2 years of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Free Standing Emergency Department.
