General Information

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The role involves providing respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting both adult and pediatric patients.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 854
• Number of Staff: 120
• Type of Staff:
• Day Shift: 15-20 RRTs for Adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds service lines
• Night Shift: 12-16 RRTs for Adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds service lines
• Patient Ratios: 10 - 25
• Type of Equipment:
  • GE R860 Adult vents
  • Draeger Infant/Peds vents
  • Newport HT70 transport vent
  • V60 Non-invasive device
  • Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

Required Certifications:

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS

Preferred Qualifications:

• NRP

Typical Procedures

Our Respiratory Therapists perform a range of procedures to support the respiratory needs of patients. Specific procedures will be outlined upon hiring.

Floating Areas

Candidates may be required to float to all Critical Care units and floors as needed.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Medium Gray/Pewter

Weekends

Weekend shifts will vary, with a requirement of at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
