General Comments
Join our dedicated team of professionals in the Respiratory Services unit. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing essential care to patients.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 854
- Number of Staff: 120
- Patient Ratios: 10 - 25
- Type of Equipment:
- GE R860 Adult vents
- Draeger Infant/Peds vents
- Newport HT70 transport vent
- V60 Non-invasive device
- Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
General Requirements
We seek candidates that meet the following qualifications:
- Must Have:
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Preferred:
- NRP certification
Typical Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments as per physician's orders.
- Monitor patients' respiratory rates and adjust therapies accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.

- Floating Areas: All Critical Care units and floors
- Dress Code: Scrub Color - Medium Gray/Pewter
- Weekend Requirements: At least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
