• Number of Staff: 120
• Staffing Overview:
  • Day Shift: 15-20 RRTs for Adult service lines; 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds service lines
  • Night Shift: 12-16 RRTs for Adult service lines; 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds service lines
• Patient Ratios: 10 - 25
• Type of Equipment: GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices.
• EMR: Cerner

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) to join our Respiratory Services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various service lines, including adult, NICU, and pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • North Carolina Respiratory License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
• Preferred:
  • NRP certification

Responsibilities

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering respiratory care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. Your duties may include:

• Administering respiratory therapies and interventions
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educating patients and families about respiratory health
• Ensuring the proper functioning of respiratory equipment

Work Environment

Our respiratory team operates in critical care units and all hospital floors. The work schedule includes varying weekends, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
