We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Aurora, CO. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and cutting-edge technology.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 350
- Number of Staff: 38
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Respiratory Therapist and 5 staff
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Respiratory Therapist and 5 staff
- Patient Ratios: Variable
- Type of Equipment: Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, Vyair Avea
- EMR: Meditech
Responsibilities
- Perform ventilator and airway management
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology for patient care
- Ensure a high standard of patient experience and care delivery
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Meditech
- Pediatrics, NICU, or PICU experience
