Description
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team for a challenging travel assignment. The Occupational Therapist will work in an inpatient acute care setting, providing essential rehabilitation services to patients. Your expertise and compassionate care will help patients achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life.
Shift and Schedule
- Days: 4 days, 10-hour shifts, or 5 days, 8-hour shifts
- Rotating schedule to include weekends
- Shift time: 07:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Unit Information
- Location: Anchorage, AK
- Number of Beds: 175
- Staff: 60 therapy providers including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Patient Ratios: 8-10 patients daily
- EMR: EPIC
- Weekend Requirements: Yes, 2-3 weekends per month
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
- Occupational Therapy certification required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Olive green

As part of the hiring process, Alaska state fingerprint and background checks must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting the position. This role involves a heavy weekend rotation, requiring flexibility in scheduling.
