General Information

• Unit Specifics:
  • Number of Beds: 3 CT Scanner
  • Unit Staffing Description: 2 technicians on overnight
  • Type of Equipment: 2 GE and Siemens CT scanners
  • Documentation System: Meditech and GE Centricity
  • Scheduling Requirements: Shifts available include Monday to Thursday, 9 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Floating Policy: May float to the main department
  • Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET, friendly and patient-focused. Supports ER department with turnaround times, stroke and trauma care in a timely manner.
• Certifications Required: ARRT CT, BLS

Hiring Profile

• Requested Skill Set:
  • Experience in trauma and stroke care
  • GE CT experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
• Advanced Skills Needed: Experience with Terra Recon or equivalent reformatting platform
• Procedures Performed: Standard CT scans (no invasive CT procedures required on this shift)

Dress Code

Current solids only; navy and purple are not permitted.
