Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on telemetry and cardiac patients.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 345, recognized with three-time Magnet Designation
• Number of Staff: Approximately 80 in the float pool
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 on days and nights; varies by unit
• Types of Equipment: Various telemetry monitoring equipment
• EMR: Meditech / CPN

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

• Minimum one year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred Skills:

• Strong telemetry experience
• Chemotherapy Certification (ability to schedule on oncology unit)

Typical Procedures

The unit sees a diverse cardiac population with:

• Large focus on telemetry
• Patients requiring floating to all inpatient medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units
