Position Overview

This position is designed for a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The role requires a strong ability to work effectively during night shifts, contributing to the health and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Shift Information

This position requires working night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS.
• Ability to float to other units as necessary.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
