General Information

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in the Dallas, TX area. This position involves working in a 10-bed unit with a focus on providing critical care to patients requiring advanced medical support.

Unit Overview

• Number of Beds: 10
• Staffing: 4 Total Staff
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Equipment Used:
  • Ventilators
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
  • Arterial Lines
  • Bipap
  • Flow-tracks
  • IV Pumps
• Electronic Medical Records: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and certifications:

• Strong ICU experience, including titrating drips and managing patients on ventilators
• Experience with patients requiring Bipap therapy
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRRT
• Transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver)

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the ICU Registered Nurse include, but are not limited to:

• Providing total care for critically ill patients
• Performing procedures such as turning, titrating drips, dressing changes, and trach care

Work Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required

Additional Information

Staff are expected to report for duty at 6:45 PM, and must clock in and out for lunch breaks. The position requires commitment to providing exceptional care to critically ill patients across multiple ICU settings.
