Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

General Information

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry unit with the following specifics:

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 6-7:1
• Unit Staffing: No Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), Tech, or extra RN on duty if no tech is present.
• Type of Equipment: Standard Medical/Surgical equipment
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• Floating Policy: Rarely occurs
• Patient Experience Requirements: Service expected aligns with an affluent community and concierge-level care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Must Have: Experience in the care of geriatric patients or past inpatient rehabilitation experience, specifically with swing bed patients.
• Advanced Skills: Wound care expertise is required.
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications are preferred.

Dress Code

Required uniform consists of navy blue attire or a navy top paired with white bottoms.
