Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Interventional Radiology unit. This role involves providing nursing care in a procedural department with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 2 IR Suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane)
• Staffing: 5 nurses, 5 techs
• Type of Equipment: Philips Bi-Plane, Phillips Single Plane, GE Monitoring
• EMR: Expanse

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procedural departments, critical care, emergency department, or ICU
• Experience with moderate sedation
• Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab

Typical Procedures

• EKOS
• Angiograms
• Trevo
• Cerebral Coiling
• Biopsies
• Neuro procedures

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 1 weekend per 28 days
• 1 call night per week, with the option to pick up extra shifts as needed
