Description
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit. This is a seasonal contract position that offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for experienced nursing professionals.
Unit Information
- Location: City, State
- Unit Type: Level 4 designated maternal center
- Number of Beds: 22 beds (16 labor beds)
- Staffing: Approximately 100 staff members, including RNs and support staff
- Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1
- Type of Equipment: EMR - CPN and Meditech
Shift Information
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- On-Call Requirements: No on-call required
General Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to high-risk maternal patients and will be expected to perform a variety of clinical procedures, including:
- Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries
- Tubal ligations
- Cerclage placement and removal
- D&C
- C-hyst and PASD cases
Qualifications
- Must Have:
- Experience with high-risk maternal patients
- Circulating operating room and triage experience
- Preferred:
- Greater than 5 years of nursing experience

The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations. Team orientation is essential, and being a supportive teammate is a must.
Dress Code
Scrub color is navy blue. Please adhere to the unit guidelines and policies.
