Description

CT Technologist

Unit Information

Facility Location: Cutler Bay, FL

  • Type of Unit: Fast-Track Emergency Services Division
  • Patient Ratios: Estimated based on current staffing and patient needs
  • Documentation System: Meditech

Job Responsibilities

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Operate CT scan and X-Ray machines to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
  • Obtain patient consent, prepare patients for procedures, and provide clear explanations of the processes involved.
  • Perform CT and radiological exams efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilize Centricity PACS System and Meditech for image storage and documentation.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
  • ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
  • Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer (RT) designation
  • Vocational School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
  • Proficiency in using imaging and documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced work environment and function independently.
  • Experience in CT and Radiology exams is highly desirable.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.
