Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Observation) to join our healthcare team. This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical (Observation) unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and reactions to treatments, medications, and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to devise and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and manage emergencies when necessary.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical or Observation setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing situations.

Schedule

This position is for weekend shifts, specifically on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
