Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our high-functioning team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care within the cardiac catheterization lab setting.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 3 Cath Lab Holding Bays and 2 Cath Suites
• Number of Staff: 9
• Patient Ratios: 1 staff member per 3 patients in the Cath Lab procedural area
• Type of Equipment: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
• EMR: Meditech

General Responsibilities

• Assist with various procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures such as pacer insertions, ICD placements, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests.
• Engage collaboratively with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule Details

• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• 4 shifts of 9 hours each
• 2 nights of on-call duty
• Every third weekend commitment
• No requests for time off or special scheduling will be accommodated

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
• BLS Certification
• ARRT (R), or RCIS/RCES
• If holding RCIS/RCES, must be willing to apply for Fluoroscopy Operator registration in the state of Colorado with DORA
• Preferred Qualifications:
• ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
• Experience in holding and monitoring procedures
• Minimum Experience: 6 months’ current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
