General Information

Unit Specifics

Number of Beds: 7 holding beds
Patient Ratios: To be determined based on unit needs
Unit Staffing Description: Unit secretaries and tech support are available
Type of Equipment: GE Innova, Impella
Documentation System: MacLab, Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday with STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days a month; self-scheduling is available
Floating Policy: Within departments including Electrophysiology (EP) and Stress Lab

Patient Experience Requirements

Focused on delivering high-quality patient care with an emphasis on patient satisfaction and safety.

Certifications and Qualifications

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Advanced Skills Needed: Proficiency in PCI, PFO closure, Impella, and IABP management
Requested Skill Set: Cath Lab experience with knowledge of Structural Heart technologies, IFR, and FFR techniques

Procedures Performed on Unit:

TAVR
PFO closure
Atherectomy
PCI
Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
Impella/IABP management
Device implants
DCCV, TEE

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs will be provided by the hospital.
