Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to mothers, newborns, and families. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in labor and postpartum care, along with circulation experience and a willingness to assist with GYN surgical and general postoperative patients.
Job Summary
Maternal-Child Health (MCH) Nurses are responsible for delivering care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children, and families throughout the continuum of care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, MCH Nurses will adhere to professional nursing standards and collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure effective patient care and optimal outcomes. Interaction with patients and their families should be conducted in a professional manner while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Education Requirements
- Active RN License in New Hampshire required
- BLS certification required
Other Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Willingness to work every third weekend
Other Skills Required
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
- Demonstration of patient-centered and patient-valued behaviors
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Willingness to perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Shift Information
Nights: 4 - 12 hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every third weekend minimum.
