Description
Job Description
This position involves providing coverage in both Rehabilitation and Acute Rehabilitation settings. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in either outpatient or inpatient contexts. Responsibilities include planning and implementing ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate patients as necessary.
- Plan and implement therapeutic programs based on physician prescriptions.
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Independently manage a full caseload.
- Knowledge of insurance authorization processes for re-evaluations.
- Work during Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as required by hospital operations.

- EMR – Net Health Therapy
- Meditech
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient and acute settings, specifically working with adults.
- Current Hawaii State Occupational Therapist license is required by the start of the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross is necessary.
Schedule
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
