Description
Job Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse primarily working in the 1S Observation unit, with responsibilities that may require floating to other Medical-Surgical units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and possibly the Emergency Department, depending on skills and knowledge.
Shift Information
- Shift: Evening, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing
- Must be proficient in reading Telemetry and BCRA (competency test will be administered on the first day)
- Current proficiency in Epic EMR is required (refresher classes or 1:1 assistance will not be provided)
- Active certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory
