Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient and family education while assessing patient needs and initiating appropriate interventions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider Certification (recertification required every 2 years)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course; not required if Lactation RN, with recertification required every 2 years)
• American Heart Association ACLS Certification (not required if Lactation RN)
• Competence in modified primary nursing practice
• Completion of two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
• If Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC or IBCLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of labor and delivery experience

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health (Assessment).

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance. It may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.

Shift Information

This position offers a variable shift and requires participation in holiday coverage.

Minimum Years of Experience

2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
