Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our float pool specializing in Medical/Surgical nursing. The successful candidate will be expected to float to various medical-surgical areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver efficient and effective nursing care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system is required.
• Ability to float to all medical-surgical areas as required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
