Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our float pool specializing in Medical/Surgical nursing. The successful candidate will be expected to float to various medical-surgical areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver efficient and effective nursing care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system is required.
- Ability to float to all medical-surgical areas as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
