Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Staffing Composition: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs
• Documentation System: CPN, Meditach
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 twelve-hour shifts
• Floating Policy: Travelers float first
• Patient Experience Requirement: Shared decision making

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery
• Advanced Skills Required: Care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, circulating and recovering cesarean section patients
• Procedures Performed: Vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tubal labor
• Certifications Required: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP

Dress Code

Scrubs are not provided by the facility. Required colors are Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
