Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. This position requires special expertise in cardiac catheterization and care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Unit Information

• Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Procedure Suites: 5
• Staff Composition: 1 Director, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 4.6 Staff RNs, and 5 Technicians
• Patient Ratios: 1 Patient to 3-4 Staff Members
• Equipment Utilized: Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Rotoblator
• Electronic Medical Record Systems: MacLab & Meditech

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional catheterization.
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients from procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), and Peripheral Vascular (PV) procedures.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Ablation (ABL) procedures.
