Job Details
- Class/Area: Med/Surg
- Start Date: ASAP
- Scheduled Details: Night Shift, 12 Hours, 19:00
- Orientation: 24 hours total, including 12 hours non-billable
- Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Experience Requirements
- Minimum: 2 years
- Preferred: 3+ years
License & Certification Requirements
- IL Registered Nurse License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Job Responsibilities
The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg units. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluating patient needs and delivering structured nursing care.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families regarding health conditions and plans of care.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to float to all Med/Surg units as needed.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
- Participation in holiday shifts as needed.
