Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Unit Name: Emergency Department
Number of Beds: 19 plus a 4-bed psych pod
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Unit Staffing: Day and night shift secretary available, along with scheduled day and night techs Monday through Friday.
Type of Equipment: Hillrom, Stryker, GE, Lifepak defibrillator
Documentation System: Meditech
Floating Policy: May be floated to psych pod or another emergency department within the system.
Certifications: Chest pain and Stroke certified

Job Details

Schedule Requirements: 36 hours per week
Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Patient Experience Requirements: Strong focus on sepsis and stroke skillsets

Qualifications

Required Skills:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- CPI
- Active RN License
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
