Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for the diagnosis of various medical conditions. This role encompasses a variety of imaging procedures beyond CT, which may include general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Conduct additional imaging procedures as required, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in patient care.
- Adhere to radiology protocols and standards to ensure accurate imaging results.
Qualifications
- Valid certification in radiologic technology.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
- Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and related safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
