ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Evanston, IL

Position Details

Start Date: 8/17 or 8/24
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Nights or Rotating Day/Nights
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Floating Requirements: Must be flexible to float to other units and potentially other locations within the region
Holiday Requirements: As Needed

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of strong ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
Familiarity with EPIC Charting
Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher

Licenses and Certifications

Valid Illinois Registered Nurse License
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification

Patient-Staff Ratio

Typical Ratio: 1:2, occasionally 1:3

Orientation

Orientation is conducted on Mondays
Orientation hours are compensated
All credentials must be submitted by the Thursday prior to the start date
