ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Details

This position involves working in a 36-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) comprising 12 Neuro, 12 Cardiac, and 12 Medical/Surgical beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:2 or 2-3 depending on patient acuity.

Schedule

Start Date: Every Other Wednesday (Occasional Monday shifts may be offered)
Hours: 12-hour Night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM
Weekend Requirements: As needed
Holiday Requirements: As needed

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of strong ICU experience
EPIC charting experience required

License and Certification Requirements

Current Illinois Nursing License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Orientation

Orientation is scheduled for Wednesdays or Thursdays, with orientation hours amounting to 6 hours of pay without billable hours. Credentials must be submitted by Thursday before the start date.
