Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with both licensed and unlicensed caregivers to provide individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care to patients, families, and significant others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized patient care while upholding the voice of the patient and adhering to system policies and procedures.
  • Engage in the Wellstar Shared Governance Model to support clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and current research to optimize healthcare delivery.
  • Comply with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, the Scope of Practice, and the Code of Ethics Standards set by the American Nurses Association.
  • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to promote service excellence and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Current and active RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of nursing principles and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with diverse team members and patients.

Work Environment

The RN will practice in a clinical environment under the supervision of Nurse Managers and other leaders, fostering a supportive atmosphere aligned with the Wellstar Professional Practice Model.
