Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiovascular ICU. This role requires a strong background in intensive care nursing with a preference for cardiovascular experience.

General Information

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 10
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Unit Staffing Description: Total Care Support
• Type of Equipment: Alaris IV Pump, GE Bedside Monitors, IABP, Impella
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts/week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating Policy: Medical ICU and Floor Units

Patient Experience Requirements:

• Must have expertise in telemetry, pressors, positive inotropes, pacemakers, chest tubes, cath/EP lab recovery, pericardial drains, and frequent site and vital sign assessments.
• Advanced skills needed in procedures such as open heart procedures and ECMO cannulation.

Certifications Required:

• ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certification is mandatory.

Dress Code:

Royal Blue Scrubs are required for this position.

Experience Requirements:
