Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for patients with spinal neurotrauma and other related conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with a focus on spinal injuries, gunshot trauma, and care for patients who are paraplegic or quadriplegic.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in surgical procedures related to spinal neurotrauma.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical specialty, preferably in spinal neurotrauma.
• Current and valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Completed skills checklist relevant to the medical/surgical nursing specialty.
• Comprehensive work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Provide professional references upon request.
