- Number of Staff: 90
- Patient Ratios: 4-5 patients per RN during days/nights
- Staff Breakdown:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
- Type of Equipment: Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment
- EMR: Meditech
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital experience, particularly in PCU.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cardiac and ICU settings
- Prior experience with Meditech
- NIHSS certification
Typical Procedures
- Administration of cardiac drips and management of cardiac catheters
- Chest tube management, wound care, TPN/lipid administration
