Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Acute Medical Unit specializing in Med Surg. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients and contribute to a positive healthcare environment.
Schedule
- Monday to Sunday: 7 PM - 7 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg or equivalent specialty.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Holiday Requirements
The candidate must be available to work a minimum of:
- 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
- 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
