Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an acute medicine environment.
Schedule
The work schedule varies from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Monitor and assess patient health, documenting any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in Med Surg nursing is required.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required.
Holiday Expectations
The position requires working during specific holidays: candidates must work 2 major holidays out of the 3 listed (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
Location
This position is available in the Northern region, with no local candidates within 50 miles.
