Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set, with experience in both adult and pediatric care, and demonstrated competence in high-acuity situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct patient assessments and triage patients accordingly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care pathways.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with a focus on adult and pediatric care.
• Experience in a large facility and level 1 trauma setting is preferred.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Availability

We have a preference for candidates who can start on 5/4, with a latest start date of 5/18. Conditional compliance for credentialing will be accepted if proof of process is provided.
