Job Summary

The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues, assisting in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. In addition to CT imaging, the technologist performs a range of other imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before presenting them to physicians.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring all devices function correctly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as policies related to patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid certification and licensure as a CT Technologist.
• Proficient in operating CT and other imaging equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations within a clinical setting.
