Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Join an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. These procedures include biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure recovery support, including in the PACU and extended stay (23-hour) areas.
• Participate as an essential member of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS certification (AHA only).
• ACLS certification (AHA only).
• Telemetry experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience.

Work Environment

This position is full-time, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as necessary per unit needs. The standard shifts will generally be 4x10 hours.
