General Information

- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Unit Staffing Description: Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, Unit Secretary
- Type of Equipment: Pacemakers
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling, with three weekend shifts in a four-week period for day shift and four weekend shifts for night shift.
- Floating Policy: Float to Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Observation Services.
Hiring Profile
Requested Skill Set:
- Must Have: Telemetry experience
- Advanced Skills Needed: Experience managing cardiac patients post-procedure
- Procedures Performed on Unit: Titration of IV medications (cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.)
- Certifications Required: None
Dress Code
Required uniform is scrubs (Royal blue top, black pants).
