Description
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with documented experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) to provide quality care to a cardiac population. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a facility of similar size.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a maximum of 28 bed PCU/IMCU unit.
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including STEMI and NSTEMI.
- Administer cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4.
- Be prepared to assign to telemetry beds for lower acuity levels as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of PCU or IMCU experience in a comparable setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
