Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Respiratory Therapists will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory conditions, performing various therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Unit Information

• Bed Capacity: 383
• Type of Equipment: Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, Vapotherm
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate patients’ respiratory status and monitor their progress during therapy.
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology in the treatment of respiratory conditions.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
• Document care provided and ensure compliance with the facility's standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Required:
• NRP or STABLE certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred:
• 2 or more years of experience in a clinical setting
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• ICU experience

Work Schedule

Travelers will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and are expected to work every other weekend and rotate holidays with hospital employees.
