Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our float pool, specifically for MedSurg and Telemetry units. This position involves floating to various MedSurg areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions and reporting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the education and support of patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry nursing.
- Active nursing license verified through Nursys.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
