Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 32-bed unit catering to an adult and older adult population. This position will involve providing care for trauma patients and administering Heparin drips and all acute medications as ordered.
Unit Information
- 32 bed unit
- Patient population: Adult and older adult
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:5
Qualifications
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Documented experience in MedSurg and telemetry nursing
- Completion of a checklist related to this position
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred
- NICHE training is a plus
Equipment and Skills
Applicants should be comfortable using specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment.
