Description
Unit Information
The position is available within a 750-bed hospital that serves as a Level 1 Trauma and Primary Stroke Center. The CT department operates 24/7, with dedicated staff including a lead tech, three techs during dayshift, and one tech for night shifts. Technologists work with advanced medical equipment to provide crucial imaging services.
General Information
- Type of Equipment: GE scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse.
- EMR System: Meditech.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active licensure in Kansas.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GE scanners.
- Previous exposure to Meditech.
Typical Procedures
- CT Angiography (CTA) of the chest, neck, and abdomen.
- CTA Cardiac studies as part of the Structural Heart program.
- CT Head Scans following stroke protocol.
Personality Fit
The ideal candidate should be dependable, prompt, and possess the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

- Dress Code: Black scrubs (not provided).
